Leadership Programming and Events Junior Associate

Hazel Rogers joined Women Leaders in Sports in August 2022 as the Leadership Programming and Events Intern. Hazel is also finishing up her Bachelor of Science in Recreation & Sport Management with a minor in Natural Resource Management at the University of Arkansas and is set to graduate in May 2023.

Prior to Women Leaders, Hazel was a Team Manager for the University of Arkansas Women's Volleyball Team for her first four years at Arkansas. While with volleyball, Hazel worked with the coaches and Director of Operations to help at practices and traveled with the team to assist in away games as well. Hazel has also interned with the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas for the Education Department. In this role Hazel assisted in on- and off-site education programs along with helping to care for the zoo's animal ambassador collection.

Native to Cincinnati, Ohio, Hazel calls Phoenix, Arizona her home where she grew up. Hazel enjoys listening to music, watching documentaries, and spending time with friends and family.
